Our Process

Every slab leak job follows the same sequence, whether you book detection on its own or the repair as well.

1. You call

   Tell us what you have noticed: a bill that jumped, a warm floor, running water with the taps off. You get a price for the visit and a time.

2. The leak is proven

   With every fixture off, the meter's leak dial is watched. A gauge then goes on an outside tap with the supply shut for about fifteen minutes. A falling needle confirms a leak even when the meter barely moves.

3. Hot or cold is settled

   Closing the supply to the water heater shows whether the hot side is losing water. Each branch can then be isolated and tested on its own.

4. The spot is pinpointed

   Ground microphones listen through the floor for escaping water. On hot lines a thermal camera shows the warm bloom. Where needed, a tracer gas such as nitrogen narrows it further. The spot is marked on the floor.

5. You choose the fix

   Spot repair through the slab, a reroute through the walls or attic, tunneling from outside, epoxy lining or a repipe, each with a written price and a plain reason it does or does not suit your house.

6. The repair is made

   The leak is checked again before any concrete is opened, so the floor is only cut once and in the right place.

7. It is tested and patched

   The new line is pressure-tested before anyone leaves, and wall or stucco openings from a reroute are patched.
